President of the Charitable Organization "Boumbouras Foundation", philanthropist Pantelis Boumbouras, financed renovation of the premises of the Regional Art Center for Children and Youth in Marinka (Donetsk region).
Thus, at the expense of the philanthropist, the first floor of the center - 7 cabinets, a central hall and a corridor - were repaired.
The building of the Regional Art Center was damaged by bombing of the pro-Russian separatists. The part of the premises was restored by the management of the institution.
Before the war, the children's creative team of the Art Center consisted of 1640 students. Now it is visited by 670 children (320 of them live in Marinka).
The Regional Art Center for Children and Youth for Marinka is visited by creative children from such towns as Kurakhove, Pavlivka, Krasnohorivka and village Kostiantynivka.
During several years Pantelis Boumbouras has been providing funds for the support and development of the students of Art Center.
«Every year we help children,we understand the complexity of the situation in which they ended up. They are the future of Ukraine, they have to develop and see the good around them. I am glad that we have the opportunity to provide students of this Art Center with all the necessary equipment», - Pantelis Boumbouras noted.
In 2017, 20 participants of the ensemble of modern dance "Podarunok" performed at the International Festival of Folk and Modern Dance "HANIOTI 2017" (Greece).All the expences of the trip were covered by the President of the Foundation.
In addition, at the expense of the philanthropist, classes of the Art Center were provided with supplies. Students of the Art Center also spend summer holidays at the summer camps on the Azov Sea coasts.
