On February 9, on the occasion of International Greek Language Day, the representatives of the “Boumbouras Foundation” visited school №118 of Odessa, where with the support of Pantelis Boumbouras the Greek language is taught as the second foreign language. The students greeted the guests with a small concert, during which they sang songs and read poems in Greek, as well as shared their impressions about their journey to Greece in the summer 2017, organized by Mr. Boumbouras.
Representatives of the Foundation also attended several classes of different groups and were pleasantly surprised that children in a short time already read, write and speak a little Greek! Finding out that for more efficient work of the Greek language class a printer and a laptop are needed, Pantelis Boumbouras immediately sent the gifts to the school – a laptop a printer and printing papers which were handed over during the concert.
