Another 100 children from low-income families in the Odessa region received humanitarian aid from the charitable organization “Boumbouras Foundation”.
As part of the “Children of the Region” project, volunteers and representatives of the Foundation presented new seasonal shoes and school stationery kits to children from the Baltsky and Podolsky districts of the Odessa region.
The entire project is financed by the President of the Foundation, the owner of the construction company “Gefest” Pantelis Boumbouras.
“I am glad that we have the opportunity to help children from low-income families. As part of the project, we have worked fruitfully in the southern part of the region: more than 700 children received humanitarian aid. We have now started a project in the north of the region. I have repeatedly said and repeated: business must be socially responsible. Small good deeds will eventually bring great results for society. Children see and understand everything. They are our investment in the future of the country,” - said Pantelis Boumbouras.
The project “Children of the Region” is being implemented with the assistance of the regional and district child services.
In the coming week, Foundation staff and volunteers intend to visit children in Okniansky and Berezovsky districts.
The project “Children of the Region” started at the end of 2018. More than 700 children from 14 districts and 3 towns of the Odessa region received humanitarian aid.
