The President of CC "Gefest" and the Head of the Charitable organization "Boumbouras Foundation," Pantelis Boumpouras, visited the facilities of the special GUR unit "Kabul-9," located near the combat zone. During this visit, Mr. Boumpouras delivered high-tech equipment to the unit, aimed at improving telecommunications and enabling the military to perform their defense tasks even more effectively.
This assistance is part of the ongoing support provided by Pantelis Boumpouras and his foundation to the Armed Forces of Ukraine from 2014 to the present day. During the visit, Mr. Boumpouras had the opportunity to personally see the conditions under which the GUR team operates, to familiarize himself with the production process of military drones – some of which are classified and cutting-edge technologies – and to learn directly from the servicemen about the real challenges they face in combat conditions.
The "Kabul-9" unit carries out missions in the most critical areas of the front line, and strengthening it is crucial for ensuring defense in these key sectors.
During his visit to one of the unit's deployment sites (exact location undisclosed for security reasons), the unit’s commander presented Pantelis Boumpouras with a Letter of Appreciation from the Head of the GUR, Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov, for his active role in defending Ukraine’s sovereignty and independence during martial law. This recognition highlights the importance of Mr. Boumpouras’ contribution to the struggle for our country's freedom.
The total value of the assistance exceeded 550,000 UAH. The military received: • Essential spare parts and equipment for military vehicles. • Important tactical equipment that enhances the effectiveness of defenders at the frontline. • Multi-channel fast-charging blocks for autonomous equipment power supply. • A Starlink system, ensuring stable communication even under the toughest conditions.
This support stands as a significant expression of unwavering responsibility and commitment to national security, demonstrating profound respect for those serving on the frontlines in defense of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
