Pantelis Boumpouras received the award “For productive cooperation”.

The Chairman of the Charitable Organization “Boumbouras Foundation”, President of the CC “Gefest”, Honorary Consul of Greece in Kherson Pantelis Boumpouras received the award “For productive cooperation” at the traditional Greek-Ukrainian festival “PANAIR”, which took place in Kyiv on May 25.

The award was presented by the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets, who noted: “Panteleimon Boumpouras is a person who is close to every Greek living in Ukraine. I believe that we will be able to organize the next celebration in the liberated Donetsk region.”

Stepan Makhsma, Head of the Federation of Greek Societies of Ukraine: “This celebration would not have taken place today if Panteleimon Boumpouras had not been with us. The Gefest Construction Company and the Boumbouras Foundation always financially support all events. Today we thank him for his support this time as well.”

The organizers also expressed their gratitude that Mr. Boumpouras is an example of tireless work and dedication, a true example for all of us. Thanks to his charitable foundation, numerous projects were implemented that supported and strengthened Greek culture, education, and social sphere. This medal is a symbol of gratitude and recognition.

Pantelis Boumpouras: “Today is a great day for us, the Greeks of Ukraine. Because today we are showing that for more than 2000 years we, the Greeks, have been living in Ukraine, have lived and will continue to live here. In this war, the barbarians stole a lot of children from Ukraine. I am sure that the children will be returned to Ukraine, and those who stole them will be punished.

Historically, people always say that heroes fight like Greeks. And now the whole world says that heroes fight like Ukrainians. Therefore, we must pray for those who are fighting for our freedom and our ideals.

Glory to the Armed Forces! Glory to Ukraine! Glory to Greece!”
