The conference was organized by AHEPA chapters in London under the leadership of AHEPA Europe Secretary Mr. Ioannis Amutzas and was held in the center of the UK capital at the London School of Economics with the participation of AHEPA Europe Governor Mr. Dimostens Mammonas from the Brussels chapter, a number of AHEPA officials and more than 50 delegates from many countries Europe, where the largest and oldest Greek-American international organization AHEPA has a strong presence.
A special honor for the conference was the participation of the Supreme Secretary of AHEPA Mr. Savvas Tsivikos from New Jersey, United States, while the opening of the conference was blessed by the Archbishop of Thyatira and Great Britain, Hypertim and Exarch of Western Europe, Mr. Nikita.
The delegates had the opportunity to visit the Parthenon sculptures located in the British Museum, as well as take a tour of the city of London.
Mr. Pantelis Boumpouras, Honorary Consul of Greece in Kherson, Chairman of the Boumbouras Foundation and AHEPA member expressed his wish that after the end of the war, the next AHEPA Europe conference would be held in Odesa.
