Independence Day marked the beginning of a new era of the Greek people, its national and cultural revival. Several generations have already grown up in a free, democratic country that adheres to European values.
Today, the feat of the Greeks resonates more than ever in the hearts of every Ukrainian. All the people of Ukraine, like the heroes of the Greek revolution, are gripped by the desire for freedom for their country, its complete independence and a European future.
I thank everyone who supports Ukraine at this time, comes out with flags in the square and prays for the fastest possible victory. Our unity, patience and faith will surely be rewarded!
