I sincerely congratulate you on the Day of "Ohi". This is a great holiday for all Greeks and at the same time a day of hard memories. After all, the war is evil and a great misfortune for thousands of families.
We are grateful to those who once said “ohi” (Greek “no”) to the dictatorship of the occupier, thereby protecting us from slavery.
I bow to those people who defended Greece at cost of their own lives.
This page in the history of our country is a bright proof to the world that strength, weapons and equipment do not always win in war, but the spirit of the people also matters.
I wish all of us prosperity, wisdom and well-being. May our people live in peace and harmony.
Happy holiday!
Sincerely, Pantelis Boumbouras.
