With the support of the President of the Hephaestus company, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Boumbouras Foundation, the Honorary Consul of the Greek Republic in Kherson, the evacuation of children deprived of parental care from the orphanage in the city of Slavutych was organized.
On March 21, it was possible to remove 12 children and 3 companions from the Children's Protection Center orphanage, where the youngest child was born in 2021, and the oldest was born in 2004.
We thank the Ministry of Social Policy, the National Social Service of Ukraine and the Ministry of Migration and Asylum of the Hellenic Republic for their help in organizing the evacuation.
It should be noted that earlier, with the support of Panteleimon Boumbouras, an evacuation bus was organized, where residents of Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Mariupol and Odesa were.
Also, with the support of the executive director of the "Hephaestus" company, Vasylis Boumbouras, members of the Greek society "Helios" of the city of Kharkiv were evacuated.
