CO "Boumbouras Foundation" under the leadership of the Chairman of the Foundation Panteleimon Boumbouras congratulated and provided assistance to the members of the Odesa regional community of Greeks who participated in the WWII.
To the most important historical date of the Greeks - the day of the OXI, the foundation allocated annual financial assistance to the participants of the WWII of Greek origin, members of the Greek community named after H.G. Marazli. In addition, for members of the WWII
humanitarian food kits were formed and handed over from the fund.
"October 28 is the most significant date in the history of modern Greece, a symbol of our strength and unity. The Greeks fought and said NO to the fascist enemy. Thanks to those heroic people, today we have a future. And the current events in Ukraine demonstrate once again that only thanks to real heroes , our world can stand up, preserve the most important human values and our native land.
Therefore, our task now is to preserve this memory, pass it on to our children and be eternally grateful to all of you, take care and help," says Panteleimon Boumbouras.
