The charitable organization “Boumbouras Foundation” paid tuition fees for 5 students wishing to learn modern Greek. about first-year students of the Institute of Philology (Department of General Linguistics, Classical Philology and Neo-Hellenistic) of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
The program of the Boumbouras Foundation scholarships has been implemented at this university for several years and is part of a project of popularization of the modern Greek language in Ukraine.
It is worth noting that the program of modern philology at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv the are the only ones in Ukraine that allows graduates to engage in research activities.
“Graduates of the program work in the embassies of Greece, Cyprus, as well as enterprises founded by the Greeks or those associated with Greece and Cyprus,”-was noted in the Foundation.
