The dance group of the Boumbouras Foundation was in Lefkada from August 20 to 25 , where it participated in the 61st International Folk Dance Festival of Lefkada.
Dance groups and musicians from nine countries participated, Greece, Ukraine, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, Colombia and Chile.
The level of the groups was very high and the Boumboura s Foundation group received very good reviews, presenting dances from Greece as well as Ukraine.
It was touching the acceptance of the people and the response to the dance group from Ukraine, while showing their love and support for the country.
The Mayor of Lefkada, Charalambos Kalos, spoke in the best words about the appearance of the dance troupe and the work of the Boumbouras Foundation and committed to visiting Odessa after the end of the war.
We remind you that Lefkada and Odessa are sister cities.
