The head of the charity organization “Boumbouras Foundation”, philanthropist Pantelis Boumbouras sponsored the publishing of the scientific article of Vladlen Shapo, Associate Professor of the theory of automatic control and computer technology at the National University “Odessa Maritime Academy” at an international conference.
«At present my article is accepted simultaneously by the 21th International Conference on Interactive Collaborative Learning and 47th IGIP International Conference on Engineering Pedagogy, which will be held in Greece on September 25-28, 2018 at the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki. Unfortunately, in this case, the organizers do not have the opportunity to cancel the registration fee for the conference for me, which is 180 euro for developing countries (including Ukraine)», - said the scientist from Odessa.
Vladlen Shapo participates regularly in various scientific conferences, represents the Odessa University as a scientist on international level.
“As I have repeatedly stressed, education and science are a powerful foundation for any state that claims to develop rapidly. Our Foundation has supported the sphere of education since the day it was founded. Personally for me it is extremely important to invest in the development of the intellectual potential of Odessa and Ukraine in general"- said Pantelis Boumbouras.
