On 10 September 2016 in urban-type settlement Sartana, Donets Region, at the initiative and with the financial support of the charitable organization “Boumbouras Foundation” (President Panteleymon Boumbouras) in the cooperation with the Federation of Greek Communities of Ukraine (President Alexandra Protsenko-Pichadzhy) the festival for children from the ATO zone “Children Should Laugh and Live in Peaceful World” took place. About 3000 children of school age from the near-front villages of Donetsk Region: Chermalyk, Sartana, Granitne, Myrne, Kamenka, Novoselovka, Staroignatievka, Makedonovka, Kremenevka, Kasianovka, Bougas and Maloniyasol took part in it.
All the participants of the event were awarded with presents – school office kits, the winners of athletic competitions – with prizes, the winners of the intellectual game – with money awards.
